"You are just like your mother stubborn and hard as core.. does any of my talks even effect you!?"

My stepmom said like she does every morning. Yeah so this is how morning starts with my step mom taunting me and telling me how much of a waste I am to this house and the money they spend on me.

I swear I will get out of here once I complete my internship.

"You brat get up and wash utensils before going to uni.. you yourself don't have any senses in your how will you teach the kids out there"

"Enough of this please I am doing as you said to me" She gave me a disgusting look and left

Life is so harsh on yourself that sometimes it feels to break free from these useless clutches and run away

I wondered my mind while washing dishes. Once done I took my bag and proceed my way to uni.

Stepping out of the house feels so nice as if u r getting a warm hug after cold nights.

It's rather good outside than inside my house.My stepmom and her children are always at my throat trying to suppress me in every chance they get and here my father who is unaware of the condition of his own house.

He is a minister which makes him to worry more about the elections than his own daughter. He is a selfish man , he never loved my mother and was with her because my grandfather had some charms in ministry. He made him way just because of my grandfather.

My sweet mother had to endure his beatings and insult because she was innocent and was adamant to keep this side of her husband to herself and well I was just a mistake which was done just because he needed a family for the council.

I closed my mind shut and started walking towards the uni after parking my car. Yeah a car given by my father because he doesn't want to be falsely accused that a minister's daughter can't afford a car and has to travels by locals.

Leaving all these useless thoughts I turned my focus on the present.

So, there is a function organised by our uni in which some higher book publishing company's CEO and chief executives are coming to pick up some of our great students for their upcoming seminars.

How I wish to be one of them but this isn't in my fate.

"Hey"

Someone said from behind me. I turned and saw my frnd Ana. she is the only person alive who loves me.

"Hi, what about today!?

Remember we don't have any classes because of the function" I told her

"Yeah I do, but we still have to look for our own group of classes before the function starts and settle them"

"Like seriously

Are they toddlers or what.. is this also our duty now"

"Ik ik but attendance matters"

We reached our classes and parted ways.

Entering in the class I was greeted  by loud voices of students saying gud morning to which I responded back with the same gratitude.

After the attendance we were settled into our seats in the stadium where the function is to be held. Ana was busy in her phone and I was looking around when suddenly loud cheers of claps echoed in our ears.

We stood up and saw many guards were walking in the direction of stadium with a person incircled by them followed by several chief executives.

The man surrounded by guards was just so captivating . His eyes were grey just like the thunder before the fall. They were disturbing and calm in their own way. The only feature I notice was his eyes because others were hidden in a mask.

I felt a tug to my side and saw my friend telling me to sit as everyone in the room were sitting, I felt embarrassed for cutting the view of the people behind me as they were giving me looks.

The function continued  for nearly 2 nearly two hours before the CEO, the same guy who was surrounded by guards and had grey eyes was called for the closing ceremony.

He spoke like magic. His voice so fine and divine. I was consumed by his voice and paid no attention to my surrounding.

I was literally cursing for the ceremony to end so early , like I only got 4 hours to watch him.

Huff!! Now that I was going behind the stage to the meeting room because each and every teacher/professor was called to meet the guests.

I mean woahh!!

I am gonna meet him.. I was so excited that I paid no attention to my surrounding and straight went into the arms of some very bulky and muscular man. I felt my eyes closing as my reflex action.

I was at verge of falling down when he reached out for me and drawned his arms around me like the hero does in the movie to his heroine.

KIERAN'S POV

"Sir , these are the last reports you need to finalize"

"What are these!?"

"The reports of the new found building"

"Alright.. leave them here and tell me my schedule"

"You only have to attend a ceremony today at W.S.P Uni.. otherwise it's all clear"

"Hmm.. you may go now"

My phone click with a message of my secretary reminding me for the ceremony.

I took my watch and left the room with thundering steps. As I came down my guard open the door of the car for me to sit.

It took us an hour to reach the uni which was lavish and one of the most widespread uni of this country.

My guards surrounded me as we moved towards the venue where the ceremony is to be held.

Sometimes I like the power of being CEO as the other person but attending these super boring ceremonies that too for such a small thing isn't my cup of tea.

I like something more challenging and the thing which really needs attention. Honouring a simple seminar isn't something I usually go.

But as this company is mine so CEO's presence is must. We moved to sit in our respected VIP tables.

Where we sat was a hall lit with dimly golden lights with thousands of chairs and people sitting on em. It was all presentable.

The ceremony took place for about 4 hours with me closing the ceremony.

Just as the ceremony ended I took a call from my secretary telling me about the destruction of our new site which took place in our absence.

I was so infuriating that I was stalking back towards my car but then a blind child tried to trigger it all by bumping into me.

I carefully reached out and stopped that child from falling backward but what I saw afterwards was a serene beauty of a woman in my arms.

She was like a child with her eyes closed and hands holding my bicep. She opened her eyes and widened them in response with red hue of embarrassment covering her ears.

I realised that I was holding her and released her with a tug but never My eyes left her face.. she was looking so innocent and like a druggist I was droning in her captivating rhythm.

She roamed her eyes around and left.. I was in a awe looking at her small figure trying to escape from the embarrassing moment.

The thing just happened wasn't something I was accustomed to but whatever it was , I needed more of it.

I wanted to hold her again, to feels her once more before I let go...

I moved outside and called my secretary asking about the girl's info.

I needed her as soon as I can...

So guys ik this chapter wasn't something to be flaunting about but what can I do it's my first time writing but trust me you are gonna get much more great chapters than this one
